The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is designed to attract foreign nationals who will support and contribute to Alberta’s growing economic need. Individuals nominated by the Alberta provincial Government, along with their spouse/common-law partner and/or dependent children can apply for permanent resident status.
Important: In response to current job market conditions, the AINP is currently not accepting applications under the U.S. Visa Holder Category and the Family Stream. These programs are on hold until further notice.

- are an Alberta employer wanting to retain a skilled foreign worker on a permanent, full-time basis

- are a recent graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution and have a permanent, full-time job offer from an Alberta employer in a skilled occupation; or
