New Brunswick skilled workers with a job offer
- a guaranteed offer of permanent employment from a New Brunswick employer, OR,
- a family supporter who is a citizen or permanent resident of New Brunswick, who has been living and working in the province for a minimum of one (1) year, and who has made a commitment to assist your settlement in New Brunswick.
New Brunswick Skilled Workers with Family Support
This program allows citizens and permanent residents of New Brunswick who have been living in the province for at least one (1) year to assist family members settle in New Brunswick. The applicant is assessed on an offer of full-time employment or employment skills based on education and training, language proficiency, work experience, age and ability to adapt to the province, surrounded by a supportive family.
The supporting family member is assessed based on their commitment to the immigration process and the successful settlement of their family member.
New Brunswick Business applicant you must:
- be willing to establish a business in New Brunswick and be awarded at least the minimum requirement of 50 points on a self-assessment (age, education, business experience, language ability, and adaptability), and must:
- be willing to sign an agreement to settle permanently in New Brunswick,
- have sufficient funds to finance the planned business venture and to support their family for a period of up to two (2) years,
- participate in the business in n active managerial role, and
- complete an exploratory visit to New Brunswick.
- Have an approved business plan or business proposal.
- Make a $75,000 conditionally refundable deposit.
- Be able to speak English and/or French, and if not, be prepared to take intensive language lessons prior to being nominated.
