Immigrant Investor Program
The Immigrant Investor Program was developed to assist those who are experienced in business to immigrate to Canada, receive permanent residency, and even become Canadian citizens under this immigration program. If you meet the following requirements, you may apply for Business Immigration to Canada under the Immigrant Investor Program:
- You must have a net worth of at least $1.6 million CAD, legally obtained;
- Have at least two years of managerial experience in a qualifying business; and
- Be willing and able to make a government-secured passive investment of $800,000 CAD
All work experience must be with a qualifying business. As such, you will be required to provide documentation showing that your business meets the criteria for a qualifying business under the Business Immigration to Canada Program. Entrepreneur Immigration Program
The Entrepreneur Program was created to bring experienced business people from all over the world into Canada in order to boost the economy and create jobs. If you are a qualified entrepreneur interested in starting a business in Canada, this Business Immigration to Canada program may allow you and your family to enter Canada and receive permanent residency or citizenship.
To qualify for Business Immigration to Canada through the Entrepreneur Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Have at least $300,000 CAD net worth, legally obtained;
- Have at least two years of experience in management of a qualifying business; and
- Be willing and able to establish or acquire a business in Canada which will create at least one job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (not including yourself and any family members).

As such, you will be required to provide documentation showing that your business meets the criteria for a qualifying business under the Business Immigration to Canada Program. Self-Employed Persons Program
The Self-Employed Persons Program allows entrance into Canada to any persons who have relevant experience as a self-employed farmer, athlete (on an international level), or artisan. If you fit into one of these categories and can show that your experience will have a positive impact on Canada’s cultural life, you may benefit from the Self-Employed Persons Program. To qualify for this program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a farmer, athlete (at an international level), or artisan with relevant experience;
- Have at least two years of experience in the relevant field for which you are applying; and
- Be willing and able to be self-employed in Canada and contribute to the country’s economic health.
