Study in Canada

Canada offers a great opportunity for international students. No matter what your course of study, you will find that a Canadian education is a great way to gain the skills you need for your future. The first step to beginning your studies in Canada is to find and gain admission into a Canadian educational institution. Once you have been accepted into a school, you will most likely require a study permit to begin your studies in Canada. We can assist you in the preparation and submission of your study permit application.

Renew or Change a Study Permit

Keep in mind that a study permit is a temporary document that allows you to remain in Canada for a limited amount of time. Once you have received your study permit, it is important to keep up with it. You may be required to renew your study permit. In addition, if you choose to change schools or change your program or level of study, you will need to notify Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) of the changes. We can help you with any changes or renewals that need to be made to your study permit. If you are currently studying in Canada and need to make a change or renew your permit, we can do this for you in record time.

Work While You Study

Full-time students may be able to work without a work permit. You may work for up to 20 hours per week and up to full-time, immediately after beginning your study program. If you want to work off campus, however, you may require a work permit. Our consultant can help you determine whether you need a work permit to work off campus. If a work permit is necessary, we will prepare and submit your work permit application for you and provide you all the necessary information about working while you study.

Post-Graduation Work Permit

Individuals who graduate from a Canadian university and wish to remain in Canada may choose to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The PGWP allows graduates to gain valuable Canadian work experience. This could be the next step to permanent residence in Canada. A PGWP is an open work permit that allows you to work for any Canadian employer for a period of up to three years. International graduates should contact us to find out if you are eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit. We will assess your credentials and assist you in preparing a complete work permit application.

Path to Permanent Residence

A good Canadian education is the first step in a path to permanent residence. Canadian graduates may apply for an open work permit without having to first obtain a job offer. With an education and valuable work experience, the door to permanent residence is wide open for you. There are several options available at this point. International students and graduates should take our free online assessment to see if you qualify for one of the immigration options. We will review your information to determine which program will best suit your needs and qualifications. We will then begin the process of preparing and submitting your immigration application.

Student’s Family Options

Individuals who want to come to Canada to study may be concerned about leaving their family behind. However, the option of bringing your family with you to Canada is available for full-time students in a qualified Canadian educational institution. Students may bring their spouse or common-law partner and any dependent children. A spouse may apply for an open work permit, which is valid for the length of your study permit. An open work permit means that they may work for any employer and do not require a work permit. If you want to study in Canada and wish to bring your family, we can assist you in submitting the required documentation for all study and work permits.
