Skilled Worker Immigration

The federal and provincial governments continue to make changes and updates to their programs to ensure that immigration is successful for both newcomers and for Canada.

Express Entry

Express Entry is Canada’s newest immigrant selection system. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements may make an application to the Express Entry pool. We will assist you in determining whether you qualify to apply and which of the economic programs would best suit your situation. We will then proceed to create your online Express Entry profile and notify you when you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA). Our immigration consultants will also assist you in improving your profile and ranking so that you are more likely to receive an ITA. Once the ITA is received, we will prepare and submit your online application for permanent residence.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The Canadian Experience Class is a permanent resident program for foreign nationals who have acquired work experience in Canada under proper authorization. If you meet the minimum requirements for work experience and language, you may be eligible to apply to the Express Entry pool.

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

Another option for foreign workers to obtain permanent residence is to apply for the Federal Skilled Worker Class. If you meet the minimum requirements of this program, you may submit your application through Express Entry. These requirements include work experience, education, and language.

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP)

The Provincial Nominee Program is a special program that allows individual provinces within Canada to nominate applicants based on their own requirements. Individuals nominated by a province are eligible to have their immigration application fast-tracked. If you intend on residing in a specific province, you may want to consider the PNP option. There are currently two ways to apply for the PNP – the ‘Enhanced PNP’ or Express Entry and the paper-based ‘Base’ PNP.
